"We have travelled long and far to reach this planet. Those years spent in cryosleep have been a success. We have found what generations of explorers have only dreamed about; a planet, which shows clear signs of life.
More precisely we are able to receive whole scale signals appearing to be of an intelligent origin. We are not sure what this all means and we are not able to say anything specific yet but we know great discoveries are about to happen soon. This time we have brought new clever machines, devices, radars and analysers to help us take these final steps."

The Planet consists of recording from a semi-hollow body electric guitar accompanied with guitar synths, loopers and a hardware FX unit to create a library which deeply inspired by sci-fi and space exploration.
The Planet contains otherworldly ambient pads, soundscapes and noises. The Planet brings a sound palette that is heavily focussed on experimentation and processing, rather than to preserving the original guitar sound.
Atmospheric sound! Great for Cinematic and Ambient stuff.
Atom Hub create very unique soundscapes and the planet is no exception.
The Planet is such a cool library. The interface is one of the coolest I've seen (though I have no idea what the different controls do), and the sounds are great! For the price, this library can't be beaten.
vintage sci-fi beast
Atom Hub products are always sounding good and got a reasonable price tag.
dreamy,glitchy,lo-fi or epic, this little wonder is capable of all.
I just wish it was easier to adjust the different layers of each instrument seperately.
Really great and interesting textures for something different in your soundtracks. I can't fault the sounds. The interface is unusual though and takes some thinking about (although there's joy in just random tweaking). I wish the flashing planet wasn't quite so annoying but this is a fun instrument that's well worth its low price.
Very cool !
Nice interface and cool sounds! Well worth it!
Lots of cool stuff
This is a fantastic collection of sounds. Soft and lush.
The Planet by Atom Hub
The Planet is a great cinematic tool for pads and soundscapes, with a sci-fi/fantasy bent. Very useful, not to mention its very affordable price.
Small but serious ambient guitar library
I had only recently intruduced Atom Hub to my Kontakt library collection. Though I only have two of their libraries, the first word that comes to mind is: charming. From the inspiring and uniquie GUI design to the sounds itself which sound great, even though they've been made using relatively basic equipment. It is obvious on every step that Atom Hub libraries are truly a labor of love. The Planet is based on ambient electric guitar sounds and it offer almost everything you could wish for in that area. The GUI itself is very inspiring to look at, even though it isn't the most functional one, at least at first sight. However, the well put together manual will explain everyhing you need to know. There are more that enough sound shaping possibilities built in, so this library is much more than it seems. Particulary if you pair it with its sister library from the same developer - The Lost Horizon.
A great partner to Lost Horizon
A really useful Kontact instrument. It has so far been used to create some great atmospheric sounds but was also really useful in the background of a wedding piece. Very versatile. It's a great partner for Lost Horizon.
This is What I've Been Looking For
Something about these sounds are steps above other pads and droning soundscapes I have. They evolve in a way that makes them continually interesting to listen to. I'll be using these on plenty of tracks in the future.
This is awesome!!
Awesome sound library for Kontakt by Atom Hub. Really nice Textures and Ambiences. I Like it!
Really enjoying this instrument and i have already used it in one project.
It gives inspiration as soon as you open the first patch, The interface is easy to navigate
and the sounds can be mangled beyond the snapshots. Great instrument at a fantastic price!
This is Ground Control
This is a brilliant instrument for soundscaping especially when coupled with Atom Hub's wonderful "Lost Horizon". You cna imagine floating across the surface of Mars or gazing at the rings of Saturn. The UI is a little confusing but lends itself to experimentation and my only major critism is that I wish I could turn off the flashing animation of the cockpit window, a simple switch to easily solve this frustration. But don't let the blinking window put you off. again a cool collection of useable presets straight out of the box.
Demo - Demonize
Drums and hits were made with Native Instruments samples. Everything else was made with sounds from The Planet.
"Here is a track that I made testing out the incredible new sounds of The Planet by Atom Hub. This track was made only with sounds made from The Planet and drums from Native Instruments."
