Product Overview

"We have travelled long and far to reach this planet. Those years spent in cryosleep have been a success. We have found what generations of explorers have only dreamed about; a planet, which shows clear signs of life.

More precisely we are able to receive whole scale signals appearing to be of an intelligent origin. We are not sure what this all means and we are not able to say anything specific yet but we know great discoveries are about to happen soon. This time we have brought new clever machines, devices, radars and analysers to help us take these final steps."

The Planet contains otherworldly ambient pads, soundscapes and noises. The Planet brings a sound palette that is heavily focussed on experimentation and processing, rather than to preserving the original guitar sound.

So cool!

The Planet is such a cool library. The interface is one of the coolest I've seen (though I have no idea what the different controls do), and the sounds are great! For the price, this library can't be beaten.

vintage sci-fi beast

Atom Hub products are always sounding good and got a reasonable price tag. dreamy,glitchy,lo-fi or epic, this little wonder is capable of all. I just wish it was easier to adjust the different layers of each instrument seperately.

Cool Planet

Really great and interesting textures for something different in your soundtracks. I can't fault the sounds. The interface is unusual though and takes some thinking about (although there's joy in just random tweaking). I wish the flashing planet wasn't quite so annoying but this is a fun instrument that's well worth its low price.

The Planet by Atom Hub

The Planet is a great cinematic tool for pads and soundscapes, with a sci-fi/fantasy bent. Very useful, not to mention its very affordable price.

Small but serious ambient guitar library

I had only recently intruduced Atom Hub to my Kontakt library collection. Though I only have two of their libraries, the first word that comes to mind is: charming. From the inspiring and uniquie GUI design to the sounds itself which sound great, even though they've been made using relatively basic equipment. It is obvious on every step that Atom Hub libraries are truly a labor of love. The Planet is based on ambient electric guitar sounds and it offer almost everything you could wish for in that area. The GUI itself is very inspiring to look at, even though it isn't the most functional one, at least at first sight. However, the well put together manual will explain everyhing you need to know. There are more that enough sound shaping possibilities built in, so this library is much more than it seems. Particulary if you pair it with its sister library from the same developer - The Lost Horizon.
