Modular Electronic Music Arranger
Download Method: Kontakt Hub
Hypernode is a fully modular Electronic Music Arranger and a collection of over 300 Kontakt Mulit-Instruments, serving most contemporary music styles and genres.
Hypernode is the most feature-complete full production package for Kontakt ever made and entire songs can be made from scratch using the system. Create the perfect sounds, sequence them all together and then create an intro, verse, chorus, bridge, middle 8, fills and outros all inside the system
Each Multi-Instrument is called a 'style' and can contain a whole song with intro, chorus, verse and so on. You can edit any part, section or sound of each multi to your liking. The 'Accompaniment Module' is where you can play up to three-note chords, drum sections as well as additional parts like bass, pads and harmonies.
Hypernode ships with over 600 factory sounds, ranging from keys and guitars to synthesizers and hybrid elements. You can edit every aspect of the sounds down to the smallest detail using filters, envelopes, lfos and effects
All Instruments offer flexible sequencers, automation, five freely assignable insert effect slots, convolution reverbs and more. You can even modulate effect parameters via the included sequencers.
The accompaniment module features 64 simultaneously running sequencers. Each sequencer can run at its own rate and act as a one-shot phrase if required. There are eight switchable patterns - which results in a total of 512 sequencing tables for the accompaniment module alone.
Total content is about 12GB in size.
NOTE: The full version of Kontakt 5.7.1 or above is required to run Hypernode without restrictions. It will run in Kontakt Player but only for 15 minutes per session.
The Accomp module is by far the most powerful and the true heart of Hypernode.
All the magic starts when you press more than one note at the same time (e.g. a three-
Hypernode Accomp will then instantly sort all pressed notes from low to high as you play and map them to the three built-
The Hypernode Kick module is the beating heart of your creation.
It is powered by the same insert effects like in the other modules.
It features a fully modelled sound-
Besides the normal modulation tables, you can sequence up to three selectable engine parameters at once and per pattern.
The Hypernode Percussion module features five hybrid engines. Each engine combines samples with acoustic modelling.
The clap engine features 26 different samples for the attack and the decay of the modelled clap.
Besides this there is a noise layer as well. A hand clap knob to dial in sampled hand claps with 63 round robins is included as well.
All layers can be mixed and blended the way you want it.
The cymbal engine features 26 different samples for the splash and the decay of the modelled cymbal.
Using this technique you can create a vast array of interesting sounding cymbals.
The fx engine comes with 26 different tonal shapes that can be used to create pitch sweeps, rises and noises.
You have full control over the amount of pitch, cutoff and volume.
The snare engine is modelled after a physical snare drum.
You can blend in tone and body noises freely and have access over small details like the initial snap (hit) sound of the snare as well as the smash itself. Additionally, there is a noise sample layer to create interesting hybrid snare sounds easily. You can also easily create dampened snare or stick sounds as well.
The tom engine brings you modelled tom sounds. You have full control over the body (tone) of the toms as well as the “snap” (click) sound that occurs, when you hit a tom with a stick. And again, as an addition, you can blend in various noise samples to drastically change your tom sound.
Lead and Harmony Module
The Hypernode lead module includes all the 600 Hypernode sounds.
It features control over volume, velocity to volume, panning, filter cutoff and resonance, filter type and more.
There is an adjustable filter cutoff LFO as well as aftertouch vibrato support.
You have two envelopes for volume and pitch modulation.
Besides this there is true mono legato, gliding with adjustable speed, 8x times unison and some unique pitchbending modes.
Almost all settings can be stored in patterns and will be switched upon changing them.
You can have a different sound for each pattern as well.
It also features the same insertable effects units as all the other modules.
The Hypernode harmony module includes all the 600 Hypernode sounds.
It is identical with the lead module.
Besides all the features of the lead module, the harmony module works by analysing the pressed chords on the lower section of the keyboard and generating suiting harmony voices to your melody playing.
This is great to thicken up lead sounds.
The Hypernode pad module delivers astonishing sounds utilizing its dual layout.
It comes with full access to all the Hypernode sounds (600 sounds) and has also a dedicated pad library (128 sounds).
In here you’ll find all kinds of sizzling pads, textures and ambiences.
Combine that with complete sequencing control over any parameter -
Each layer features full control over effects, envelopes and even an built in LFO for pitch, volume or cutoff modulation.
It also has the same insertable effects units as the other modules (for each layer).
I was one of the very early "early birds" and really waiting impatiently on this one. And the waiting has really, really been worth it :-)
There is so much individual compositional heartblood incorporated in this 300 songstyles represented as kontakt multis (so definitely no "Band-in-a-box" standard stuff), I cant even imagine how much time and energy this must have taken. And it is extremly easy to use. Conventional midi keyboard use must be even easier (and perfect for live use) but my unconventional use with only using piano roll for programming the song stucture works great too and once you get into it very easy.
I am trying it out now for about two weeks and only have come threw nearly one of the style groups (downtempo), every new style is really kind of new universe :-). Especially the very individual programmed drums (no kits, a single lib for evry incorporated drum instrument that really makes very unique drum atmospheres inside evry multi) and great harmony track are very useable.
Only thing I have replaced are the pads, but thats just individual taste and I have so much great individual pad libs I just wanted to use inside these styles.
Apart from still listening and trying out the multis I am just experimenting with using individual parts out of the multis on individual tracks with other instruments, that works great too. 5 stars for this unique library !

very nice and beautiful
It sounds very modern, many possibilities to create own sounds.
Great tool for music creation.
All in one
Perfect tool for electronic music. Lots of presets to play with, easy to modify.
