Cryptar - Eternal Light
Version: Kontakt 5.5.1 / WAV / V1
Atmospheric Designed Guitar and Piano
Download Method: Kontakt Hub
An acoustic guitar and an old grand piano were chosen as the main instruments for the Eternal Light but the philosophy demanded a more diverse set of sounds.
That is why you will find more various sounds here. Sounds like Church bells, dripping water, sounds of crickets in the night, creaking and burning. These sounds have been mixed with the acoustic material to give a distinctly dark atmosphere to the library.
Hope you will enjoy them !

WHO IS THIS LIBRARY FOR?
Everybody who loves imperfect sounds, raw, rough and atmospheric overtones.
Everybody who loves a slightly different approach to sampling - not the most perfect capture of the instrument, but rather stronger moods that affect and inspires.
Everybody who loves to create soundscapes, “sound situations”, who love combining sounds of an instrument with non musical elements. And of course - for all fans of Atom Hub !
It was midnight. Crickets and frogs were my companions, as was the Moon in the sky. I found myself in front of that gate again. I Could not help myself. Something urged me to do it. I had to come back. I had to enter the crypt again and look for that something I am sure is still in there.
What could it be? I don´t know. I Entered through the old, heavy creaking door and got immediately covered by darkness. Just me and wet, ancient darkness. What was that? Did I just hear footsteps? Did something just bang down there? Or was that just my imagination?
I lit a candle found on the ground as I stepped downstairs. The walls I touched were wet - no surprise, water was dripping down, painting small lakes under my feet. Suddenly I heard the church bells... has someone died?
great price , some real smooth guitar patches and an original twist on many
Really nice and atmospheric. Cool stuff from Atom Hub, as usual.
Dark, experimental, atmospheric and perfectly-imperfect...Atom Hub nailed it again. 5 out of 5.
This one is (also) great - worth the money!

sounds of horror
If you like horror-movies, then you like these sounds
I was going to write a dark mysterious song but couldn't find the right patches. Cryptar - Eternal Light was exactly what I was looking for in sounds. This purchase was a no brainer for me.
WAY WORTH IT
Compared to more expensive similar libraries, this one is better. My favorite library for halloween sounds - it's gritty, a little campy, and really inspiring. It's got heart. My other libraries like this - for sound design - are boring in comparison.
This is a pretty outstanding creepy library!
This is superb for creating a sense of isolation and desperation in any track. Multiple instruments lend themselves to the overall ambient feeling of being alone. Very cool Library highly recommend!
Great library lots of nice sounds
Great library lots of nice soundsHave already used it for 2 tracks
Incredible and versatile
It took a time to buy this and it was worth it. Before I luckily used Cryptar (Free)and liked it. Cryptar - Eternal light though has so many more inside. You have athmospheres, very good whispers and dronish stuff - ok ok, but what I really like is the guitar stuff - and I say that as being a guitarist myself. You have reversed types and just naked acoustic ones with some nice vibrato (which was recorded via playing, not scripting I guess). Then the pianopatches, more muddy than bright - the EQ allows you though to adjust that. And there are other useful onboard FX. All in all there are hundreds of patches, Singles and Multis - all very tasteful compiled in an old school sense of horror sound. So no braams and cold synthetic stuff here, it sounds muddy and organic.
This library helped me out in quite a few situations that had nothing to do with ambient or horror music, funnily enough.
Atom Hub's sound libraries are always fun. The sounds are everyday sounds we would never think to use in music, and yet they are very musical and playful. I especially like the piano sounds on this one. When you need something a little off-kilter and quirky, they are great. Sometimes more useful than "perfect" piano samples.
Love the sounds that can be produced with this instrument, I already used a fair number of sounds in my dark ambient project. The GUI is great too, really sets the mood.
