Dusty Drones and Textures
£15.00
Download Method: Kontakt Hub
This library contains dusty & dirty drones and textures. While You can use the source sounds right out of the box are You also able to create interesting rhythms, pulses, sweeps and much more by only using the morpher.
It also includes a vast collection of presets (160+) where we really mangled the sounds and took advantage of the engine.
The library is built within a dual layer engine so You can easily mix two sounds together and adjust settings for each one individually. The interface gives you full ADSR control and has a master section where you can set Stereo width, Filter (LP) cutoff, Output gain and Panorama position. Also there is a Movement Effect, which let's You create moving sounds; also available for each layer individually.
The Morpher is really the core of the engine. You can use it to create choppy rhythms or simply morph from one to another sound just like sort of a LFO. You can also set only the range of it without having to activate the sequencer if You want to morph via Your Modwheel or something. You can even load Sequencer presets via the load and save buttons.
The Fx rack includes Reverb, Phaser, Delay, LoFi, Convolution, Distortion, Flanger, Chorus and an EQ. It is divided into three tabs.
(Featured as the Big Review in SampleCast #65 [7:00-11:37]; accompanying "Show More" text even addresses a comment in the video.) The SAS libraries keep getting better and better and Autumn Choirs joins Resona and Mountains, adding more capabilities for evolving and creating sounds. Its price makes it a complete no-brainer.

From the first 5 minutes playing with this library, I felt in love...

Last month,I got this library.
And soon, this was very effective in my works.
I like sounds including minor-chord elements.
...than ever, I like the sound includes old dust.

I own everything that Sound Aesthetics Sampling has put out. They always provide so many useful sounds to compose with. Autumn Choirs is no exception. So many different types of pads atmospheres, drones, and textures. Straight forward simple interface. No learning curve.
And always at a very competitive price.
Franklin Vanderhyde
This is another excellent value from Sound Aesthetics. The Resona and Mountain libraries are useful as well. The choir hybrid is a very nice complement to the other libraries. Personally, I'd get the bundle if are starting out in your Kontakt libraries. You won't regret Autumn Choirs either way.

Pair this up with Mountains for some spine tingling lush sounds...

Autumn Choirs from Sound Aesthetics Sampling is a great little NI instrument, that gives you the ability to include a really quality Choral sound in your mix, without the usual large price-point..that alone makes it well worth grabbing!
It might appear pretty basic on the surface, but it's really a deep little thing, once you start to play around with it..and it sounds amazing.
Highly recommend it to anyone interested in producing a warm, Choral sound.

This library is absolutely wonderful
Dinu Petrache
This is a lovely instrument that can produce an interesting and diverse palette of sounds. It's pretty easy to manipulate the sounds and create some great atmospheric textures, pads etc

This is another fine installment from SAS, in my opinion one of the very best small Kontakt library developers that emerged in recent years. Their libraries really have almost everything one could wish for: sounds that are of fine quality yet rather simple in nature and easy to manipulate, GUI that is very intuitive and with quite powerful features and finally the price that is more that friendly. Autumn Choirs is no different in any of these areas from the other SAS libraries. Although the basic philosophy behind this library may seem a bit niche at first, one could be very surprised in discovering how many types of interesting and useful sounds can be obtained from the field recordings made with the sounds of the wind. I have used Autumn Choirs in a few of my more pieces lately and it fits perfectly! In any case, I have all the current catalog from SAS and I'm really looking forward to the upcoming releases.
