Product Overview

The Caxixi is a percussion instrument made of a closed basket with a flat-bottom filled with seeds or other small particles. The round bottom is traditionally cut from a dried gourd. The Agogô of sanded coconut is made in a handmade way with wooden handle bolted in two dry coconuts that are sanded and varnished. Touched like the other models, with a wooden bat.

Really natural sounding Brazilian percussion. I bought this to do some dance/club music in the style of Buraka Som Sistema

Nice combo for the higher range

Here you find two instruments from brasilian percussion which can fit in any genre.

There are six patches - three for each instrument.
One contains only the one shot samples split across some keys. Some could wonder that there are only a few samples, but I guess that's enough.
Then you have a patch for each instrument with loops in 100 bpm.
And then one which is timestretched and syncable to host tempo (works best from 90 bpm upwards).

That's it and it's enough. Good for adding some percussion in the higher range, when drums or lower percussion are already there.
