1 How do I download my product from Big Fish Audio
If you buy a product from developed by Big Fish Audio or Vir2 then you will be provided with a serial number.
You then need to visit the following url (https://www.bigfishaudio.com/redemption.html) and enter the serial number to download your purchases.
2 I purchased one of your libraries from another distributor. How do I download?
You will need to visit the following page:

3 What is Pulse?

5 What are Kredits?
Kredits are your reward system. Every time you spend on Kontakthub you earn Kredits. Kredits can be used to apply discounts at checkout. In the future you will be able to use Kredits for all sorts of offers including free products.
Every Kredit you have in your account will entitle you to 1p off your order so, if you have 500 Kredits, that's £5 off! For every order you make your will earn 3% back in the form of Kredits.
6 Can I Sell My Libraries on Kontakthub?
Yes you can and we offer great incentives. It all depends on how good your libraries are. Get in touch.

8 How do I download my purchases?
Once you have purchased some libraries from Kontakt Hub you can download the files to your computer instantly. To download your files click on 'My Account'
In your account locate the 'Your Purchases' section and click 'View All'
Here you will find a list of all products you have purchased.
Locate the product you want to download and click the download icon to access the download page.
Please download all parts to a safe location on your computer. If the product is large it will likely be split into a multi-part archive. You will need software in order to extract the files. We recommend using Winrar if you use a PC or UnRarX if you are running IOS. Keka is another great IOS app for extracting and creating achives.
If it is a multi-part archive you simply need to richt click (on pC) and choose extract here and the software will extract all files from all parts at the same time.
IMPORTANT - Please ensure you are using a computer to download your purchases. Download links are not visible on mobile devices.
Some products are distributed in different ways. For example some developers use Continuata Connect to enable secure downloads. Please see the relevent section of the FAQs for details.
9 Can I download an Invoice for my purchases?
Yes you can! In your account locate the Invoice Download icon as shown below:
10 Do I earn rewards for reviewing products?
You can leave reviews for the products you have purchased on Kontakt Hub. You can only leave reviews if you are a genuine certified customer so you can be sure all the reviews you see on the site are honest and trustworthy.
In your account you can leave reviews either by clicking the link in 'Your Purchases' or by checking out the 'Contribute to Kontakt Hub' section.
Each review you make will earn you 25 Kredits which you can use for money off future orders.
You can leave a star rating for each review. If you like a product please leave a review. It genuinely means a lot to us and the individual developers to hear your feedback and it helps other customers make informed decisions about what they are buying.
11 Can I follow developers I like the most?
Yes you can. You can follow a developer to get updates when they release new products or run promotions. You will see the 'Follow Developer' icon dotted around the site.
Click it to start following the developer. You can view which developers you follow (and choose to unfollow them) in your account. You can also view a list of all developers to find new sounds you may not have heard before. Explore and have fun!
12 What are Kontakt ‘Player’ libraries?
If you have the ‘Full’ version of Kontakt then you can open any Kontakt library (provided you have the correct release – See FAQ ‘What version of Kontakt do I need?’ for details). Kontakt Player libraries are slightly different, these can be loaded in the free version of Kontakt known as ‘Kontakt Player’. This means you can purchase Kontakt Player instruments and open them without needing to own the full version of Kontakt. You can also install Kontakt Player libraries inside Kontakt, so you can view them and load them directly from the libraries panel. However, there are far less Kontakt Player libraries available on the market – This is because they are more costly to develop and require developers to pay Native Instrument a license fee.
Kontakt Player libraries also require a serial number and must be registered with Native Instruments before you can use them. If you purchase a Kontakt Player library from Kontakt Hub you will receive this code via email after your purchase. You will then need to install the library in Kontakt and enter the serial in order to use the product.
Kontakt libraries that have not been made for Kontakt Player do not require a serial number so you can load them up in the full version of Kontakt and start using them straight away. You will not be able to install them into the libraries panel inside Kontakt though. About 90% of all libraries you will find will require the Full version of Kontakt so we highly recommend you get the full version if you want to experience everything that Kontakt has to offer.
13 What version of Kontakt do I need?
Kontakt libraries are not backwards compatible. This means if you have Kontakt version 4 then you will not be able to load libraries that have been created for Kontakt 5 for example. Similarly if you have Kontakt version 5.1 then you will not be able to load libraries that have been created for Kontakt 5.2.
The solution is to always keep your version of Kontakt up-to-date. This is easily done using the auto-updater app Native Access. You can download Native Access from Native Instruments.
14 What is NKS?
NKS is an abbreviation for Native Kontrol Standard. NKS is an extended plugin format which allows intuitive and seamless interaction between plug-in instruments and Komplete Kontrol and Maschine hardware. If a Kontakt library is NKS-ready then you can operate the library using your hardware quickly and easily. Presets will be easily browsable using your hardware interface, the S-series keyboards will light up to correspond with the software and parameter values will appear on your hardware for easy and quick editing.
If you see this icon on Kontakt hub then you know the product you are buying has been built for NKS and will work with your hardware. For more information on NKS please visit the Native Instruments site.
15 What is Continuata?
Continuata is an application that many developers use to securely deliver product files to their customers. It is a fast and secure download facility that helps to prevent piracy. If a product you purchase from Kontakt Hub is tagged as ‘Delivery Method – Continuata’ then you will be provided with a serial number.
Firstly you must visit the Continuata website at the following address: http://continuata.net/register.php and enter your details and the provided code.
Then you must download the Continuata application here: https://continuata.net/download_app.php (if you don't already have it)
Once you have registered the code please then use the application to download. Install the application, enter your provided code and your download will begin.
16 Why are some products not downloadable directly from Kontakt Hub?
Different developers use different methods to deliver product files. While the majority of the products on Kontakt Hub can be downloaded directly from us you will find some of them are delivered using other methods. Continuata is a popular method but some developers like to deliver the product files themselves.
If that is the case then you will see the product page says ‘Delivery Method – Developer Distributes’ – Once you purchase a product that is distributed by the developer themselves then you will receive an email from the developer with instructions on how to download your product. As this is a manual process it may take a little while for the developer to get in touch due to time-zone differences.
Some other developers such as Big Fish Audio and Best Service prefer to deliver product files directly. In this case you will be provided with a serial number which you must redeem on the developers website.

17 How do I download my product from Best Service?
We are now an official distributor for Best Service. This means you can purchase products from Kontakt Hub and download them from Best Service. You will be given a unique serial number. Please go to the Best Service website and use the provided serial to download the product.
18 How do I use the serial number you have provided to register my product?
Most of our products don’t need a serial number in order for you to use them. However a handful of products will need a serial number. These can either be Kontakt Player serials, Continuata download codes, Best Service Download codes or DAG serial codes. Please see the appropriate sections in the FAQ for more details.
19 How do I install Kontakt Player libraries?
Once you have downloaded all the files and extracted them to your desired location on your computer load up Kontakt and choose ‘add library’ in the libraries panel. This will launch Native Access on your computer. Paste in the provided serial number and Native Access will ask you to locate the folder.
Browse to the top level folder and choose OK. That’s it! Kontakt should recognise the folder structure and add it to the libraries panel.
Please remember that most libraries cannot be added in this manner – Only Kontakt Player libraries can be added in this way. For other ways of managing your libraries please refer to the FAQ ‘How do I load Kontakt Instruments in Kontakt?’
20 How do I load Kontakt Instruments in Kontakt?
There are several ways to load Kontakt instruments. Kontakt files have the extension .nki and Kontakt multis have the extension .nkm. You need to preserve the folder structure of the libraries to ensure the samples folder doesn’t get moved from its current location. You can drag .nki and .nkm files directly from your computer into Kontakt. You can also use the file browser inside of Kontakt to locate and load files.

The quickest method however is to use the Kontakt Quick Load function. Once you have Quick Load set up you can easily browse all your libraries and load up individual patches directly. Here’s a great video that I always show to people when they want to know more about Quick Load.
21 Kontakt says there are missing files when I load a library. What should I do?
Firstly, don’t panic. Missing files is usually an easy problem to rectify. It usually occurs when the folder structure has been altered or samples moved from one location to another on your computer. Kontakt will give you the option of 'browsing' for the missing files. Click 'Browse for folder' and then locate the top level folder of the downloaded files or the samples folder if you have moved it to another location.
Once you have loaded the instrument you can resave it to prevent it from having to locate the files each time you load it.
There is also a function in Kontakt called 'Batch Resave'. This automatically scans folders and finds missing samples. More information about Batch Resave can be found here.
22 What are Snapshots and how do I use them?
Snapshots are a great way of managing presets within Kontakt. Rather than loading individual .nki files you can now browse, load and save your own Snapshots. They load quicker than .nki files, take up less space and can be easily located. They can also be browsed using NKS hardware such as an S-Series keyboard from Native Instruments. Many of the products you purchase from Kontakt Hub will have a folder named snapshots inside. This folder needs to be copied to a specific location on your computer.
The easiest way to locate your snapshots folder is to open up the instrument then click the 'Spanner' to open up the inner working of Kontakt. Click 'Instrument Options' then 'Snapshot' then click 'Show' - Paste your provided snapshots in this location.
